Our client is one of the world’s leading organisers of trade exhibitions and conferences. The Group is managed across regions and industry sectors and as the company expands, so does the need for full-time assistance with the co-ordination of Group-wide marketing and digital activities.

Consequently, we are looking to recruit a Group Marketing Co-ordinator to work in a friendly environment that is forward-thinking, results-driven and passionate about customer service. The successful candidate will be working closely with senior marketing and digital management, assisting with information gathering, internal communication and project co-ordination.

JOB PURPOSE

The Group Marketing Co-ordinator is a hands-on role at the hub of our client’s Group-wide marketing and digital initiatives. The main purpose of the role is to manage the flow of information, out from and back to the senior management team, making sure that all parties are informed of developments – and the impact of change on product performance.

Day-to-day assistance with duties performed by the senior marketing and digital management team is also a key requirement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Obtain visitor statistics from regional offices and keep the visitor statistics report up to date
  • Obtain exhibitor data from regional offices, accounts and sales teams to assist with the monitoring of event performance
  • Extract customer research data from the Group’s research software solution and enter data into the event analysis spreadsheet
  • Gather marketing information from regional offices when required. E.g. plans, event pre-registration data, post-event reports
  • Manage the Group-wide document sharing solution
  • Check and approve (or query) event data entries into the central event database
  • Make occasional updates to the main website
  • Collect web traffic data from regional offices, collate and report on a regular basis
  • Assist in the pre-launch testing and QA process for Group websites
  • Help to populate new websites with appropriate content
  • Gather data and information required for senior level presentations and reports
  • Maintain an internal database of Group-wide marketing/design/digital/PR staff
  • Manage the digital project management software solution
  • Help to gather news from around the Group for internal comms and social media channels
  • Assist with the administration process associated with the procurement of and payment for products and services purchased by the Group marketing management
  • Manage the Group’s association membership
  • Assist with desk research when required
  • Ad hoc duties as required

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Experience & Knowledge – Essential

  • University degree or equivalent

  • B2B marketing experience
  • Strong understanding and interest in digital marketing technology, strategies and best practice
